Great application for sales people to use on-the-floor to provide their customer an estimate of final purchase price of the potential sale quickly without having to return to the counter/register; or for a non-sales-force user to estimate a final purchase amount before committing to the sale.
Operation of the application is simple:
1. Use the settings tab to set the tax percentage to apply to the purchase.
2. Also, determine whether or not any additional charges (such as delivery fees) are subject to tax or not
3. On the main screen, enter the original purchase price, select an optional discount percentage amount and additional charges. Discount percentages can be selected from a provided quick-pick list, or entered manually.
After those items are entered (in any order), the estimated total amount due is displayed at the bottom of the main application screen.
